These terms cover the ADP Shifts browser extension, the ADP Schedule Export userscript, and this website (together, "the software"). By installing or using the software you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
1. License
The software is free and open source under the MIT License. These terms do not limit any right that license grants you.
2. Independent project
ADP Shifts is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ADP, Inc. or Google LLC. ADP and Workforce Now are registered trademarks of ADP, Inc. Google Calendar and Chrome are trademarks of Google LLC. Names are used only to describe compatibility.
3. Your responsibilities
- Use the software only with your own ADP Workforce Now account and your own Google account.
- Follow your employer's policies and ADP's terms when accessing your schedule.
- Treat ADP as the source of truth. Always confirm shift times in Workforce Now before relying on them, especially after a recent schedule change.
4. The ADP Shifts calendar
The extension fully manages the calendar it creates. Each Sync makes upcoming events in that calendar match ADP, which can remove or overwrite events you added or edited there. Keep your own events in a different calendar. The extension cannot access any other calendar.
5. Availability
The software reads the same data the Workforce Now schedule page uses. ADP may change that data at any time, which can stop the software from working until it is updated. Support is provided on a best-effort basis through GitHub Issues.
6. No warranty
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You are responsible for any decision you make based on the calendar it produces, including missing or arriving late to a shift.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors are not liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from or in connection with the software or its use.
8. Privacy
How the software handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the software after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be raised by opening an issue.
